SFA. (“Sports For All”) operates several websites and mobile applications including SFA iOS App and SFA Android App. It is SFA’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites and mobile applications.
Like most Digital Products, SFA collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers IOS / Android Apps and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. SFA’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how SFA’s visitors use its website / App. From time to time, SFA may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.
Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information
Certain visitors to SFA’s websites / App choose to interact with SFA in ways that require SFA to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that SFA gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who sign up for an account at SFA to provide an email address and phone number. In each case, SFA collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with SFA. SFA does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And users can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related or app-related activities.
Types of Data Collected
The application collects some device data that helps to improve the experience, such as the device language and system type. The application also tracks the user’s location only when users try to join a community sports group event and check in / check out to a challenge session.
SFA may collect or infer health information. Certain health information may be inferred from sources such as heart rate, calories, or other measurements, including power, cadence, and weight or other indicators. Before you can upload health information to SFA, you must give your explicit consent to the processing of that health information by SFA. You can withdraw your consent to SFA processing your health information at any time by disconnecting the tracker through the app
Tracking user’s location
SFA may track user’s location in the background only when a user try to check in to any published sports event or challenge, once the user checks out from the event or challenge the app will stop tracking the user’s location.
SFA may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites / APP. For instance, SFA may monitor the most popular services on the SFA applications. SFA may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, SFA does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.
Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information
SFA discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees or organizations that need to know that information in order to process it on SFA’s behalf or to provide services available at SFA’s websites / APP, and that have agreed not to disclose it to others. SFA discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only in response to a subpoena, court order or other governmental request, or when SFA believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of SFA, third parties or the public at large. If you are a registered user of a SFA APP and have supplied your email address, SFA may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with SFA. We primarily use our various product blogs and social media channels to communicate this type of information, so we expect to keep this type of email to a minimum. If you send us a request (for example via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. SFA takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.
