Community Sports Groups and individuals to participate in challenges created by the four Federations’ varied sports expertise
Move To Game, an innovative online tournament merging a love of gaming and physical fitness jointly launched by the Saudi Sports for All Federation (SFA) and the Saudi Arabian Federation for Electronic and Intellectual Sports (SAFEIS), is pleased to announce new contests for both Community Sports Groups (CSGs) and individual competitors to be presented over a two week period.
Beginning next week, the official Saudi federations of basketball, hiking, cycling, and boxing will unveil a set of challenges for CSGs and individuals on the Move To Game social media channels. Drawing on the four Federations’ expertise, this new phase aims to introduce Move To Game players to exciting fitness contests with the chance to compete for prizes.
The first set of challenges, developed by the Saudi Arabian Basketball Federation, will entail dribbling skill tutorials with two separate individual and CSG contests. The following week, the Saudi Climbing and Hiking Federation and the Saudi Cycling Federation will present challenges for CSGs, while the Saudi Boxing Federation will present challenges for individuals.
The winners of all of the competitions will be selected through a two-step process: the federations will first asses all entries, then elevate some of the entrants to into the final prize draws.
In May, a Move To Game challenge developed exclusively for CSGs saw nine teams win across three tiers in a tough competition. Structured to welcome all sizes of CSGs with corresponding prize segments, the Challenge drew in 36 teams with a total number of 637 participants.
To date, the program has registered six billion steps and counts more than 147,000 participants! Move To Game, in an encouraging and entertaining manner, aims to continue onboarding new users resulting in more people participating in physical activity on a daily basis as part of the Quality of Life program under Saudi Vision 2030.
