The Summer Camp series for your little one kicks off its third episode with Coach Saad who gets straight into a 20-minute workout with a warmup that gets your little one up and moving! Pay close attention to his warmup and stretching to avoid any injuries during the workout.

His first workout alternates regular jumping jacks with jumping jacks back and front which helps your little one to keep their heart healthy while improving their overall co-ordination and flexibility and building their strength and endurance. This exercise only requires your body weight and can be done anywhere!

His second workout is a sequence of three routines repeated twice, beginning with pushups that will help your kids engage their biceps, pectoral muscles, and shoulders. He moves over to wall sit ups where your child performs a regular sit up while their knees are at a 90-degree angle and their feet are against the wall. The improved core strength and flexibility will improve your child’s overall athletic performance.

Watch Episode Three:

The third routine is the Superman, which continues the core workout while also focusing on strengthening the lower and upper back, glutes and hamstrings. Watch Coach Saad carefully to avoid any injuries.

Coach Saad takes your little one back through workout one’s series of jumping jacks and jumping jacks back and front.

If your child is enjoying a sequence in any of these three workouts, you can repeat it for them so they can do another if they feel up to it.

Finally Coach Saad moves on to his easy cool down, which helps the body temperature, blood pressure, and heart rate to return to their normal levels, while stretching the muscles while they’re still warm can help to reduce cramps and stiffness.

Stay tuned for the next seven episodes of Summer Camp fit ‘n fun for little ones!
