Join the Saudi sports community on Twitter for motivation and more

If you are not on Twitter, this is the time to get on and get interacting! The social networking platform is chock-full of fitness inspiration and health tips.

As a quick response to the health situation, Saudi sports accounts (including the SFA) have been coming up with creative ways to keep you engaged and active while you’re at home. We’re all supporting one another, and we want you to join us online! How are we feeling? Here’s a letter from SFA President sharing his thoughts.

Need a short break from family time? Want motivation to get off the couch? Get online and check out our official campaign hashtag: #بيتك_ناديك!

HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal, Minister of Sports, has a Twitter timeline that is primarily a mixture of official Ministry announcements and sports highlights. The Minister, who regularly cheers on Saudi athletes for their efforts, recently did something even cooler: he posted his home workout in easy to follow video format!

If you are looking for all things fitness or sports-related, head on over to the official account of the Ministry of Sports. Announcements about sports scholarships and education, check. Behind the scenes of footage of your favorite athlete’s training session, check. Fitness in schools, check. Saudis competing in a wide variety of international sporting events, check. International sports events taking place in Saudi, check. Tips to stay healthy, check. They cover it all.

The Saudi Olympic Committee highlights the accomplishments of Saudi Olympians internationally and us (the average Saudi citizen) alike. The success of one is the success of all. A nice (and interesting) touch: a house emoji next to their username to advocate staying healthy and training at home during the health crisis.

Everything you need to know about health and fitness is just a quick click away. Use these accounts to curate a healthier feed.

Of course, if you don’t already do so, follow us at @Saudi_SFA and join the conversation!

Healthy Living is a frequently updated content section brought to you by the Saudi Sports for All Federation. In the spirit of supporting our #HealthyActiveCommunity, we’re sharing tips around wellness, physical activity and more!
