Omar Battarjee

Omar Batterjee is the Head of Marketing, Communications, and Partnerships at the Saudi Esports Federation and the winner of the 2020 MEPRA Dave Robinson Award for Outstanding Young Communicator of the Year.

 

At the Federation, he built the communication, marketing, and partnerships departments from scratch, establishing policies, procedures, and structures for future operations. Omar is also assembling a team to actively implement Saudi Arabia’s national gaming and esports strategy and promote esports as a growing regional sector.

 

He oversees all marketing efforts for the Federation’s projects, festivals, and initiatives, including the National Gaming and Esports Strategy, which aims to make Saudi Arabia the center of the global gaming industry by 2030. Omar played an essential role in bringing Gamers8, the world’s largest gaming and esports festival.
