Clayton D’Costa, the Head of major global events at Portas Consulting, with over 15 years of experience delivering exceptional events and projects worldwide. He represents Portas Consulting company, whose passion for sport and physical activity remains at the heart of everything they do.

Clayton provides clients with strategic advisory expertise across the major events lifecycle, from bid development to post-event reporting. He led several major regional projects and events, including the Special Olympics Abu Dhabi 2019, the world’s largest sports and humanitarian event that year.

In his role at Portas, Clayton shaped and grew the company’s major event work in the Middle East, Asia, and Europe. He believes that major sporting events can make sports and physical activity lasting legacies beyond the event itself.
