Basim Zarie is the president of the Saudi Aikido Committee, and he holds a Bs Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from California State University, Sacramento.

Basim has 35 years of experience in engineering, project management, and planning, and over 40 years of experience in different martial art training forms, including an Aikido 5th Dan black belt from Japan.
