E-Gym and Home Run programs aim to keep you healthy and active
The Ministry of Sports (MoS), headed by Minister HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, unveiled two programs aiming to keep you fit and healthy: E-gym and Virtual Home Run staged in collaboration with the Saudi Sports Media Federation.
The E-gym program offers various types of exercise through a digital portal allowing you access to professional coaches, giving you the ability to practice a number of sports at home. Access these workouts on Instagram Live or via the Zoom platform. Question and answer sessions are also being planned so you can communicate directly with the professionals and seek advice about your home sports activity!
The Virtual Home Run offers a number of events to cater for all types and levels of runners. Whether you can run 1km or a full on marathon, you’ll find an event to suit your competitive needs!
These two initiatives build on the earlier MoS activations (click here to read more) offering fitness inspiration and health tips. This is in tandem with the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee (SAOC); they’ve also been highlighting the need to stay at home and keep fit. SAOC has showcased the determination of our Olympic athletes, and the fact that the success of one translates into success for all.
Baytak Nadeek by the Saudi Sports for All Federation in collaboration with MoS and SAOC now has many phases: the Ramadan initiative of Move to Donate with the Saudi Food Bank, Move to Game with SAFEIS, and the university challenge with SUSF. We most recently launched our corporate challenge – so encourage your company to get active and join us online!
These virtual events aim to inspire everyone, from all walks of life and across all ages, to stay fit while at home.
Why should you continue to stay healthy while at home? You’ll feel fitter and it will help you and your family to maintain a positive outlook. Visit our Healthy Living portal for inspiration on home workouts, mental well-being, and conscientious nutrition.
