Five trainers from various athletic disciplines start coaching you from home as part of the SFA’s national wellness campaign

The Saudi Sports for All Federation (SFA) is proud to build on the Baytak Nadeek (#بيتك_ناديك) program by rolling out a new phase: Official Baytak Nadeek Trainers. These five trainers will connect with you online and keep us all fit and healthy during our stays at home!

SFA President, HRH Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed bin Talal Al Saud, called on everyone in Saudi to support and encourage their fellow citizens considering that some of our community may be battling loneliness and inertia (click here to read Prince Khaled’s letter to every Saudi home). This latest phase of Baytak Nadeek is one part of a larger program that is tailored for our healthy and active community.

“The SFA, collaborating with our Baytak Nadeek Trainers, reaches out to each and every one of you with this latest phase of our National program to keep you active at home and to keep everyone living in Saudi closely connected online,” said Prince Khaled, congratulating the five trainers on their commitment to health in Saudi Arabia.

Badeek Nadeek unifies us because it allows us to keep one another motivated during this period of self isolation. I’ll be sharing workouts around calisthenics; it is a type of method and workout that uses body weight to develop strength, increase endurance, improve balance, and more,” said Abdullah. He explained that calisthenics, aside from the physical benefits, also improves his mental state and encourages him to continue to strive for more progress. “People will start noticing that big improvements come from small steps,” he said, adding that different body types require different approaches from a professional training perspective.

“During a time like this, physical activity and training is a way to combat isolation, monotony, inactivity and demotivation. Creating this virtual Baytak Nadeek community helps us stay connected and inspired for a better life,” said Najia, discussing some of the program’s benefits. Najia will be sharing videos with various types of workouts: CrossFit, calisthenics, HIIT/Interval training and strength training, some with equipment and some without any equipment. “Training has always been my source of mental peace and growth. Keeping an active routine helps to minimize feelings of negativity and fear of the unknown. Behavior dictates attitude and vice versa, staying active has allowed me to maintain a positive approach and outlook on life during this period,” she said, encouraging all SFA community members to give her workouts their best shot.

Ahmad, a firm believer in the impact of physical exercise on the mind and its functions, is emphatic: “If you stop training, you stop thinking.” To help keep your mind and body healthy during the stay at home period, Ahmad will be sharing some aerobic and resistance exercises that require minimal equipment, using items you already have in your home. “The Baytak Nadeek initiative unites us in our fight against the virus. Staying at home is our only weapon to stop its spread,” he added, inviting the entire online community to join him during his workout sessions.

Aya Saleh Alduhaiman| Instagram @AyaFitness_

Aya, a seasoned yogi and vegan chef, believes workouts should always be fun and convenient. “Most of us are looking for workouts that are easy to implement at home during this self-isolation period. Baytak Nadeek has made this very easy. Rather than scouring the internet for different workouts, (#بيتك_ناديك) conveniently groups different workouts in one place. It’s a one-stop-shop.” Aya will be sharing a mix of yoga, cardio, and resistance training workouts to help you stay fit at home.
